Primo premio unDotoDo: un week end per 2 persone in uno degli hotel all seasons
Per questo che è il nostro secondo Contest vero e proprio – il primo è stato “Steal the Road”, a fine 2010 – volevamo mettere in palio un premio particolare, qualcosa che andasse oltre i prodotti che quotidianamente vendiamo su indieup.com e i brand “indie” con cui di solito collaboriamo.
Cercavamo un modo per farci notare, ovvio, ma anche qualcosa di accattivante che invogliasse tutti voi a partecipare al Contest.
Ci siamo riusciti – crediamo – grazie all'appoggio e alla collaborazione del gruppo Accor che, attraverso il brand all seasons, ha messo a disposizione come Primo premio di unDotoDo un week-end lungo (2 notti, 3 giorni) con colazione inclusa per 2 persone da utilizzare a proprio piacimento durante tutto il 2012.

Hey dude,haven’t commented for quiet some time.First of all: I like the animation you made! Though it looks a bit odd that he stops for a moment after making a step, but i guess that’s supposed to be I played Dummy Never Fails and it was really nice Though a bit too easy, but hey..better than getting frustrated Can’t say much about the new game, but I like seeing new stuff here Always wanted to make some games and also have the animation book and was digging into it before i start programming (i know much in programing, but not really in flash…but have been reading some blogs etc).So I hope to see more soon!
Heh - funny you should say that, Xian. I have a different form of myopia. I thought, “Clash and Slash? Doesn’t EVERYONE know about that one already? How about a really obscure game…?”The thing is, there are a lot of indie games I’ve never heard of. As much as I try to keep track of indie RPGs, for example, I had never heard about The Broken Hourglass until I spoke with Jason Compton about it about a month ago.
I think it’s a good idea. One of the things holding back many indie games is exposure. They don’t have the advertising budget of a commercial production so it’s hard to get the word out about them. I am sure there are many that I have missed simply because I have never heard of them such as Dwarf Fortress, and I try to follow the indie scene better than many. I hope more web sites start doing it, and it would be great if the big site like Gamespot, IGN, Gamespy, and the others started doing the same.
As I understand it, the Gathering of Developers weren’t for “indies” so much as independent (not owned by publishers) to get together as kind of a consortium that acted as a publisher.I think they were bought out by a publisher… Take Two? I think it was them, and not Eidos.Anyway, a couple of G.O.D.’s founders have returned to the fray with a new company called… get this… , or more commonly abbreviated “Gamecock.” And it really is more of an “indie” focus. And plenty of attitude, apparently…And, hey, they even have an action-RPG title in development, called “Hero.” Though it sounds awfully generic to me so far.

No, don’t get me wrong, Lourens, I did like Rescue the Beagles too. Maybe even more than Iji (sort of). See, I just wanted to be different but you sir, have diminished that fact and made my heart burst. I write to you from hospital.Also, way to fight the power! There are no winners or losers in this world, everything is based on luck. Sometimes people win games, but thats not to say that person is the winner. The person losing could easily win the next time if they tried hard enough.Its true, its true, I tells you! *sobs majestically*
